Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 17, 2026 (original: September 17, 2026)
The Practical Brief may participate in affiliate or referral programs offered by service providers, retailers, utility-related programs, subscription services, business software and service vendors, or other third parties.
When an affiliate or referral relationship exists, The Practical Brief may earn a commission or referral fee if you click a qualifying link and complete a purchase, sign-up, trial or other qualifying action. In most cases, this does not increase the price you pay.
Our editorial approach
Affiliate availability does not determine which topics we cover, which companies, products or services we mention, how we compare them, or what conclusions we reach.
We aim to base important factual claims on current official sources, including provider and vendor pricing pages, terms of service, help centers, program rules, utility information, government resources and official policy documents when available.
We do not claim to have personally used a service, received a rebate, completed a refund process, tested a household product or run a business on a particular software plan unless that experience has actually occurred.
How affiliate links are disclosed
When a post contains affiliate or referral links, or when another material commercial relationship exists, we aim to disclose that relationship clearly within the post, near the relevant links or recommendation.
A disclosure may say:
“The Practical Brief may earn a commission if you purchase or sign up through links in this post, at no additional cost to you.”
A link should not be treated as an affiliate link unless The Practical Brief actually has a confirmed affiliate or referral relationship with the relevant company or program. Where a guide names a vendor without such a relationship, the link is there for the reader to check the source.
No guaranteed savings, eligibility or fit
Prices, fees, promotions, rebates, refunds, eligibility requirements, plan limits, service terms and availability can change.
The Practical Brief does not guarantee that a particular service or plan will be cheaper or will fit your team or usage, that you will qualify for a rebate or assistance program, or that you will receive a specific refund or savings amount.
